The process
Physiotherapy sessions start with clinical history; this includes any information about the animal - the more the better!
Then the assessment: a look at your animal whilst stood, moving and also hands-on. At the hands-on stage, palpation and range of motion assessments will be undertaken.

Manual therapies.
The use of a fully qualified physiotherapists hands is the simplest form of therapy yet often yields the best results. Using a combination of massage techniques and stretching can combat a wide range of issues and aims.
Another tool in the box is the use of Kinesiotape. After qualifying through Rock Tape UK, in 2019 application can be used to benefit both horses and dogs.
Electrotherapies.
Electrotherapies currently on offer are:
Heat therapy

TENS and NMES

Exercise plans.
Plans of action, including exercises are beneficial for all animals, even those on maintenance. Individual prescription will be used in order to maintain true individuality and gain the best results.
